Why is ther 1 and a half inch in the mddle of my sasung tablet 4?

it just appeared. i didn't do anything and then i cant use my tablet. all i see is a 1 and a half inch black line. please answer my help.

Welcome to Android Central! If this remains unchanged regardless of screen orientation, it's most likely a screen defect. Bring it to a repair shop for screen replacement (or contact Samsung if it's still under warranty).
