Why is there a busybox database?

Does every android come with preinstalled busy box applets? Because I never downloaded it.. and the files were found.. Is this normal?

I believe since android 6.0 (marshmallow) it comes with Toybox installed on stock android system ( non rooted ).
Toybox is an alternative to busybox. Which is why you will see applets on you phone.
