Why is there a shadow above my status bar?

Previously, there was no shadow above my status bar. Last night, it appeared. Anyone knows how to fix it?

SM-G900H running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

Welcome to the forum. Not familiar with that one...did you just install a new app, or maybe change some settings? Joining and linking to a screen shot would be helpful.
