AC Question

I miss speaking my txts into the phone and having the phone convert to typed words. Does anyone know how to get a little Microphone icon on the keypad of an LG G4?

I use Swiftkey and it has a mic icon. For the stock keyboard, I am not sure, but I will move this to the g4 forum for more visibility

I use Swype, which has one. I don't use voice to text, though, because the accuracy just isn't there.

Is it possible to change my QWERTY to one of the other ones? If so, I haven't figured it out.

QWERTY is just the style of layout, like on your keyboard, and most of them use that layout. You can search for different keyboard apps in Google Play to try out. Some are free and others are paid. Swift Key seems the most popular, and Swype was the one that popularized swiping through the letters. A lot of it will come down to trial and error to find the one best suited for you.

On the stock lg keyboard, hold down the little settings icon and you can change it to mic, pen, or settings button. Hth

When I press and hold the pencil I only get the "clip tray" and a settings wheel which takes me to the keyboard settings but I can't seem to find a way to get the microphone back there. I've looked everywhere. It was just there 3 days ago :( Any ideas?
