Why isn't my Google Voice not working with my S Gear 2 Neo?

google voice not working with S Gear 2 neo

I bought a Samsung Gear neo and paired to my note 4. I am trying to use Google voice search but it won't work. I say "ok google" to activate and it does. But after that it doesn't work. The mic doesn't pick my voice. I have tried speaking into the watch and also the phone. It works if I unpaired the watch.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

I'm not really sure what you're asking for but the google voice search doesn't work on the gear, it'll only work on the phone. You're going to have to use svoice if you want to talk to the watch

I get that. But when my sgear is connected to the phone google voice doesn't work. It gets voice activated when I say hi google but doesn't read my voice after that.

Hmm, that's very interesting...have you tried clearing the cache of gear manager and the Google app? Also, can you try using Google voice by pressing the mic icon on the search app and see if that works?
