Why isn't my Samsung Galaxy S3 turning on at all?

Samsung Galaxy S3 not turning on at all.

I purchased a used S3 earlier this year and it worked fine for around 7 months. Last week the phone turned off suddenly when it had at least 40% battery left. I tried it with a different battery yesterday and it worked fine, then when I woke up this morning it wouldn't turn on again. I've tried leaving the battery out, charging for hours, holding down buttons at once and nothing works.

Is there anything else I can try?

Try purchasing another battery and see if that helps. If not, then there's likely hardware damage. If you purchased new less than a year ago contact Samsung and see if they will honor a warranty repair/replacement. Since it's an older device released many years ago, they may not warranty the device - but it's worth a shot.
