Why isn't my Samsung Tab 3 charging and why isn't the screen flickering?

Samsung Tab 3 Not Charging, Screen Flickering

In the morning I found my Tab 3 to be out of charge. When I connected the charger, nothing happened, only screen flickered after regular intervals.

I already removed the back cover, disconnected & re-connected the battery connector but the problem is still there.

The charger is original from Samsung, working perfectly with other Samsung device.

Can anybody help me with this?

A faulty wall socket, charger, USB lead, USB port, or battery? Or a dirty USB port?

Already mentioned in the first post, the charger is working fine ......i.e. Wall socket is OK, Charger is OK, the connecting USB lead is OK, the USB port is OK. The only thing left is battery......do you think, the battery need to be changed within 1 year of usage?

It seems a dirty port contacts on tablet, or port it has fault.
