Why isn't my soft key buttons lighting up anymore on S5?

Ok the soft keys down by the home button on the bottom....mine do not light anymore. Is anyone else having this problem? I have them set to the 1.5 second time out. Even when I put them on "always on"they don't light up. I sent a message to samsung and they haven't replied yet.

Mine did the same. I turned off Power Saving and they started working as normal again.

Check if power saving mode is on. Power saving turns off haptic feedback and softkey lights.

I'm not sure when, how or why I changed it... but mine did the same thing... I went to Settings>Display>touch key light duration.... make sure it doesn't say, "Always off"

I am also having the same issue, can someone help us out, I don't think it's an hardware issue, as the buttons are working properly.

Looks like they were just able to fix it by fixing the light duration.
It can work while still having broken/failed LEDs.

My note 2 menu and return does not light up either new ribbon?not on power saving mode time set to 6 seconds still no light?always on no lights?buttons work fine? help please

turned Power Saving Mode off and the lights started working again.
I thought it was the Lollipop update bug .. Thanks
