Why isn't my tab turning on?

I bought my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 4 years ago. All these days, it worked fantastic but recently what I've seen is that: when i switched off the tab, it was 97% charged, but the next morning when I intended to switch it on, it had no respond. I wanted to check by plugging in the charger, but still no response. Not a single icon flashed on the screen, It was totally blank with a whole black screen. can any one of you help me solve these issue? I have read many of ur forums similar to mine, if any of you could help.

Welcome to the forums. Even though you had a good charge when you turned it off, try plugging it in for a couple hours. Keep something in mind though, the battery is considerably old, and may need to be replaced.
