Why my android is not connecting to my laptop via USB ?

I am using windows 10 laptop and android LYF wind 7 . While connecting my phone to my PC via USB the PC not is showing the phone drive. I need to connect my phone to my PC to transfer some media files but my PC is not recognizing my phone. How can I fix it ?

In the notification bar on your phone, make sure the connection type is MTP.

Check the phone maker's website to see if there are updated Windows drivers available.
