Why my battery stucks in 22% no mater what !!!

[Android Central Question]

hello , my phone samsung m20 stuck at a batery indicator :
i callibrated it , i charged it when the phone is off ,still the same
when i calibrated it : the phone turned off (batery empty ) but still stuck in 22%
then when i put the charged when the phone is off ,it says (45% )
after letting it for 3 hours ,when the phone is off ,it shows 57%
when i turn the phone on and the charger is pluged it starts from 57% and gets down until 22%

well the , battery phone is working fine!( period )but

It's the battery indicator that have stuck at 22% and untill now remains the same and still i have no solution!

It may nevertheless be a bad battery, but you could try Safe Mode and a Cache Partition wipe.

well ,it happend to me
the key is to update the phone software and everything is fine

Welcome to Android Central! How did you calibrate it?

Try letting it charge overnight undisturbed -- does it get up to 100%?
