Why my galaxy s8 does not connect to 2g network?

[Android Central Question]

My galaxy s8 is not connecting to gsm gprs edge network even i forced it to 2g only and then it says Emergency call only.
I already tried by changing the phone and other phone connects 2g and 3g very well. I'm in Pakistan and on Ufone network.
Anybody can help?

Perhaps the S8 doesn't support the 2G frequency bands for your carrier.

It supports 2g band i checked the phone and sim band too...

You need to verify that your provider still is supporting 2G.

Go to Settings>Mobile Networks>Network Operators​ -- is Ufone selected there?
