Why my phone is unable to connect to mobile network to make a call ?

I have a clone galaxy note 4 made by galaxy /alps .
Whenever I insert a sim i get the massage " cannot connect to network at this moment. Try later . Several times I have tried it and got the sametext reply ,Though the relevant network is active and the sim also works well with my Nokia xl .

The SIM slot or tray may be faulty or dirty.

Or the phone may not be enough of a clone to actually work. Bring it in to your carrier and see if they can get it working. If not, contact the seller.

Hi ,Thanks .When bought at Bangkok , local sim cards were working alright .
