Why no 1TB version?

It saddens me that there is no 1TB Note 10+ available and the only 512GB is black.

What gives?

Something they can roll-out later is my guess. I was surprised and I thought it was missing from the order/configuration page on Samsung's site. The further I got into the Byzantine labyrinth of the site I was confounded by there being no Note10 Plus 5G in Aura Glow with 12GB/512GB for Verizon or if such a combination existed.

yea, i touched on this in my review of the Note line is another thread.

it is sad, seeing the S10+ has the 1TB option. one would think Samsung would offer the NOte users the same option.

i really do wonder what goes through developers head making different phones and just leaving out 1 feature with that phone but adding it to another phone. sigh

Yea, Samsung is famous for holding out the good stuff until later in the game.

I would venture to guess that the 1TB S10+ did not produce the sales figures they were looking for and they decided to scrap it for now.

Seems like a cynical, backhanded slap at the fans. It didn't stop me from ordering a lower-tiered Note10 Plus in Aura Glow though. Rebuff my love, will they? Even the 12GB/256GB is a formidable device and is too good for me.

Just curious what people do with their phones that requires that much storage? I just checked my 64gb note 8 that I've been using for 2 years and I've only used 44gb. I save photos and videos to the SD card, about 7,000 on there and that's another 61gb.

Did anyone think...they are now using much faster UFS 3.0 storage which is much more costly than the UFS 2.0 storage in the S10 series....add a microsd card to the plus version and you are set .....good night plus both plus models have 12 GB ram which negates needing the 512 gb model even more...........if the ram was different then it would have been up for debate.......don't forget more storage typically a bit more ram usage......

For me mad amount of 4k movies and emulators with games going back to the stone ages. My phone would probably need even more space than 2 tb lol

Makes sense... Note 10+ with 1TB would cost a lot...
