Why the random shut downs?

So does anyone know why the phone will randomly completely shut down? not even a simple restart? I find this horrible for people such as myself who use the phone as an alarm clock..

I am not sure, but would love to know; I just bought three thunderbolt phones and am not impressed.
Other than the reboots I love my phone as do my wife and son.

HI we have two and both have experienced this problem too!! one has done it more than 4 times and mine just 2 times no extra software or apps installed so we are curious too!!!!

I've seen all kinds of phone do this, occasionally. As long as it's very occasional, it's about par for the course. Never right, but it happens. I leave my phone on 24/7.

If it does this often, you should exchange it. My opinion.

Since I've had mine (March 17th) I think it might have done it once. The reason I say I think, is because when I pushed the power button to wake it up, I noticed it was just starting up - so, it must have been off. However, it is possible that I might have tuned it off myself. When I first got it I was fooling with it a lot
