Today I was suffering through my usual lack of data connectivity. I had gray signal bars, no 3G or 4G icons. Couldn't do anything...
So I decided to go try and toggle between LTE/CDMA and CDMA only modes. Go to Settings...More (under Wireless & Networks)...Mobile Networks.
I noticed here, that my phone had the Network Mode showing WCDMA. I thought that was strange, because this phone doesn't do that...but maybe it's a display bug and it shows this when LTE is selected. So I opened the menu (click on Network Mode) and selected LTE/CDMA. Back on the previous screen, where it said WCDMA before...it now says LTE/CDMA.
And now my data is working again...
Just wondering if other folks have noticed this as well. I haven't seen the WCDMA pop up again...
I'm attaching a couple screen shots. I didn't get one that actually showed WCDMA... But I took a couple (yes, the times are spread out) of the Network Mode display (showing LTE/CDMA) and the choices for Network Mode.
