Man.. First off.. i LOVE the android os and love the community that comes with it! I have been using it for a while and left a blackberry (had an iphone for a few too) to defect and really have been please with almost everything ever since..

But WHY cant we have a unified inbox for ALL accounts? I have 3 gmails and 1 exchange account, now, i can use one as my "gmail" account and have the other 2 go tot he mail app, but then i dont get push notifications. if i set them all up in the gmail app (with the exception of the exchange account) then if i want to view a different account, i have to switch to that inbox. I know i can setup 1 gmail account to get the others by pop, but then when i respond to an email that was sent, it doesnt look like its coming from the email that they sent it to (does that make sense??).

All i want is all my mail, in one place (see blackberry's execution).

I have seen a few other threads out there and no one seems to have a solution, but if anyone does know of one, PLEASE let me know. I would even pay for an app if it will:

1. Combine ALL my mail into 1 box, and when i hit reply, it replies from the account the mail was sent to.

2. must be push notification, not timed intervals.

This is really the only gripe i have on the platform... other than that... i love it all

What are you talking about?

If you have THREE gmail accounts, all THREE gmail accounts are in the gmail app. Why are you putting the other two gmail accounts in the mail app and not the gmail app? sheesh

Dats yer problem right dar

Not really.. actually having them in the regular mail app is a LITTLE better for me because at least they are all consolidate and color coded. I dont have push, but if i put them in the regular gmail app, if i want to get to another account, i have to switch to that accounts inbox. They are NOT consolidated. Does that make sense? It does to me, but let me know if you need more explanation.

You where just complaining about how they aren't in one app, and I told you how. Yet you wish to not do it that way.

So I dunno what to tell ya

ok.. thanks for your input.

Actually i was looking for a solution for 2 problems.. see number 1 and 2 in the op. But thank you for solving 1 of them.
