Why will my s8 that I just got today not connect to my samsung level bluetooth?

I go into my settings and have my s8 search for Bluetooth devices but it doesn't find anything. I even charged up my level and made sure it was on but my s8 doesn't find anything.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have to press a Connect button on the headphones to initiate the pairing process?

I would also make sure you dont have another phone around with bluetooth turned on until you get them connected, my iphone 7 was interfering with the s8 connecting to my garmin watch

If its the headphones, make sure you've slid the bar over on them to initiate pairing mode. The led will start to flash.

If its the Level speaker, make sure youve put that in pairing mode also. I cant say how as I dont have the speaker, just the headphones.

Why will my new S8 not connect to my Samsung level?

I have a brand new S8 that will not connect to my level Bluetooth. My old S6 connected just fine so I don't think it's a problem with the level. I've fully charged my level and restarted my S8. I've had them in contact. No matter what I try my S8 doesn't find anything.

You put the level in pairing mode?

There's only on and off, and yes I had it on

It's the Bluetooth for using while I drive and such.

I've attempted while nothing else is near.

Are you talking about the headphones that go around your neck? If so you have to slide the on/off switch to the far side and hold it there until the led starts flashing.

Yes, those are the ones. I slide the switch all the way over to the on position and the led flashes blue 3 times but it doesn't work. I've also installed the samsung level app but that's no good either.

Thank you for your time. I figured it out. I can't find the manual but I found a video that informed me to hold the answer/end call button down for a few seconds while using the app and it paired. Funny, I don't remember holding that button down when pairing it with my s6.

Yeah I didn't have to do that either. I have the level u pros and all I did was engage the pairing slider and open bluetooth settings on the phone and select the headphones.

Glad you figured it out though.
