AC Question

I need help on fixing my motarola moto g 2nd generation becuase things aren't working properly. The lock screen won't appear and it just goes straight onto my home screen with out me entering the password. The home button doesn't work and I have to use the back button mulitple times to get back and I can't get the down bar to work at all. This has never happened before and I can't take the battery out of my phone and I don't want to do a factory reset. Shutting the phone down and turning it back on didn't work.

Try booting into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps. https://motorola-global-portal.cust...detail/a_id/99932/p/30,6720,9151/kw/safe mode

If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears. If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely to be a hardware or firmware problem.

The problem continued in safe mode so I tried to factory reset it but the screen has gone blank and I cant get to the recovery mode screen. Is there anyway around it so I can factory reset?

How did you try the factory reset--through the Settings>Backup & Reset menu, or the Recovery Menu? Are you able to power the phone on at all? If it doesn't seem to be turning on, try pressing and holding Power for at least 15 seconds.

did you end up solving the problem? im having the exact same 3 problems on a moto g3?

did you get it fixed; I am observing same behavior.
I think problem started for me, because internal storage was full. Even after cleaning up storage now, still I am getting same behavior.
