Why won't my LG G4 Yahoo email play .mov files?

lg g4 yahoo email won't play .mov files

yahoo email works fine. Some .mov files won't play. Get error msg. cannot play video unsupported file type is there an app required? tks

VLC is a good app. It supports .Mov.
