Android Central Question

After purchasing my Moto Droid Turbo 2 from Amazon, I was so happy with its performance that I decided to buy a turbo power charger. More specifically, I bought the Turbo Power 15+. It says on the Motorola website that it's compatible, as it does on Amazon as well. Upon receiving the charger in the mail, I gleefully plugged it in, only to find that my phone was charging just as normal. In every aspect thus far, my phone has been performing as normal, aside from a couple of dead pixels on the screen, but that shouldn't affect anything. I really would like to be able to unlock the possibilities of turbo charge- it seems like a game changer. I've tried unplugging and plugging my charger in again, to no avail. This is really disappointing and I'd love to find a solution as soon as possible. Otherwise, I guess TurboPower is just a novelty I'll never be able to attain.

I've seen a few complaints on various forums (including Motorola's) about that. It seems as if an update caused a problem, and evidently it's not fixed yet. (Remember - this is Lenovo. Motorola would never have allowed a bug to be out there that long.)

There's not much you can do except wait for an update, but since the phone is almost 3 years old I don't think you'll see one. Your choice whether to return it (it doesn't turbo charge, so it's defective) or keep it. Amazon is pretty good about returns for things like that.
