Why won't my music player show on the lock screen after the upgrade download?

music player won't show on lock screen after upgrade download

Before my system upgrade on my s5 i could fast forward my music while the phone was in lock screen mode. Since system upgrade that facility is no longer available can I get it back. If anyone has any answers I would be greatful.

Try going in to your settings, sounds and notifications, scroll down to while locked and change it to show all content.

I had the same problem and this is what worked for me on my Galaxy S7:
Settings>notifications>advanced>Google play music>turn on "allow notifications" and turn off "hide on lock screen"
