Why won't my photos enlarge to full screen for viewing?

my photos will not enlarge to full screen for viewing. This is a new issue.

photos will not enlarge and the last photos I took were square not rectangular. How did this get messed up?

Make sure your auto rotation is enabled.You can also rotate the photo to match the way you're holding your phone.
