Why won't my s5 charge with the given charger?

Yesterday morning I noticed that my s5 didn't fully charge during the night. It was hooked up to the charger that came with it. It's the charger that looks like it has 2 USBs attached. It would only charge to about 40% and then stop. I tried restarting, taking the battery out and back in, and even did a factory reset. After all of that then it wouldn't charge with the charger it came with at all. However it will charge with my husband's charger that came with his s5 active...the micro usb. Anyone have any idea why this is, and is that charger going to eventually be an issue as well?

If your phone is used over a long time, you might consider to clear the dust inside the charge hole, as it may reduce the conductivity.

If still does not work, perhaps you should change the charger.
