Why wont my Samsung galaxy s6 stay on without being on charge

My s6 galaxy only comes on when on charge soon as I unplug charger phone goes off and it always shows 86-87 percent battery life anyone have any solutions !!!

My guess is the battery is bad, or something in the circuitry that connects the battery to the rest of the phone.
