Why won't my sim access protocol turn off after 5.01 update?

Sim Access Protocol won't turn off after 5.01 update

When I connect to my car via bluetooth after the upgrade to 5.01 the phone automatically selects Sim Access Protocol mode and the car effectively takes control of the sim. Before the upgrade I could choose to connect in that way or not.
Any ideas?

Wait for the 5.0.2 update and see if that fixes it. Or wait for a Lollipop update for your car audio system.
