Why wont my WiFi stay online?

I have a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 and my WiFi will not stay turned on.

When I try to turn it back on, it stays a dim green and goes back off. Been happening randomly for a couple days now, drives me insane.

I've seen a lot of recommendations to remove the battery and that works sometimes, but it comes back at some point.

My phone isn't rooted. Any ideas?

That sounds like a software problem. I'd try backing up your info and doing a wipe and restore.

Make sure smart network switch is turned off.
