man in circle icon and function won't remove

man in circle icon opens a screen controlling volume up and down, power, home and pinch. Floats over all screens and gets in the way. Doesn't show up as an app or a widget.

Go to settings menu, then accessibility. Scroll down to physical and motor. There's a choice called universal touch, just turn if off and the icon disappears.

Need to remove man in the circle icon. Gets in the way and tried everything suggested but still it remains please assist me annoying and frustrating

On my G5 it's under:
Settings > Accessibility > Accessibility features shortcut - toggle to on > Touch assistant - toggle to on and everything else toggle to off.
Go back to the home screen. When you triple click the home button it should appear and disappear. Once it is gone, go back into the settings and turn the touch assistant off, then turn the Accessibility features shortcut itself off. Make sure you turn it off in the right order! It should be gone now. Good luck!
It took me quite a while to figure it out because the button would just hover in the background semi transparent but not go completely away.

This worker perfectly, thank God. I have spent many hours trying to get rid of this creature. Just follow the steps exactly as set forth. I messed up on my first attempt. WOW!

I'm also having the same issue with the same type of phone ... LG Stylo 2. Did you ever find the resolution for the problem?? If so could you please share because am wrecking my brain tying to get this irritating little icon thingy off of my phone!!

Re: man in circle icon and function won't remove

Ok is this the same as this irritating floating menu? I can't get this to go away either and it floats at top of screen on Nougat just under notification bar and gets in the way.

It is a gray icon with two arrows inside a box pointing towards two corners. When you toggle it, more buttons appear:
Read screen out loud (i.e. what screen is showing)
Power button
Volume up and down
And a push to scroll down button
