Why you shouldn't be disappointed in the Dual Core version.

Oh wow for that price of 680 then I will get me the international version! It is true about the upgrade. Might as well go quad. I to also use wifi all the time so lte is not a neccesity. Thanks for all the info guys!

You also wouldn't get 3G with the International version, so that would make no sense at all. The Krait chip out-performs the quad-core anyway, so why are you worried?

Yup that's the thing. The dual core krait outperforms the tegra 3 yet I wanted the quad. I am always undecided with gadgets. Lol. I will see when it gets closer to launch . I know for a fact I'm getting one at&t one x for my wife. I will decide at that time. I'm leaning to dual but we shall see.

Wait a minute, how's that? I looked at the specs and it does list the same bands for AT&T for 3g/hspa. So, how will it not get 3g? I don't use mobile data anyway, so it really doesn't matter if it does or not.

Pretty sure the international version will work on AT&T 3G. It is the international version, and the Euro carriers use the same bands as AT&T (or vice versa, since AT&T wants to play nice with international bands).

The other thing to consider with the unlocked international version is that it will get updates from HTC first, and not have a carrier in the way. The flip side is that it won't get carrier specific updates (bug fixes and AT&T specific radio updates and things like that).

Ok, New question. Which should I use to ship when I order it? Airsure or DHL? The difference is only 10 pounds sterling, but I wanna use the best one. Amybody have any experience with these 2 companies on international orders?

I hate DHL. With a passion. They have never gotten a package to me on time, and (at least locally) their drivers do all kinds of aggressive, reckless stuff on our streets.

Wow, you guys with your trigger happy checkbooks. No one wants to wait for first reviews and benchmarks? See if the support forums for the One fill up with first-adopter user complaints? If you're so eager to spend $700 on a phone without having held one, buy one for me, too, will ya? ;):D

Lol that was funny!

I don't want to cast aspersions on any of the forum members, but buyers suffering from small p***s syndrome (or castration anxiety) will probably be disappointed in the Krait. Gotta have the biggest processor in yer crew, right? ;)
