Something stupid, but why is the Nexus S forum named the Samsung Nexus S, but the Nexus One forums is called the Google Nexus One? Why can't the Nexus S be called the Google Nexus S? It is something so stupid, but I am just so curious.

I've been saying the same thing for a while. Android Central seems to think the Nexus S is more Samsung than the Nexus One is HTC.

The Nexus One is listed under HTC here, but the name of thisd forum is Google Nexus One.

Maybe AC doesn't feel the the Nexus S is worthy of being a Google device so this is a Freudian slip.

See the thing is is that Google and HTC have been hand in hand in their two most important moments. One being that HTC had the first ever released Android device and HTC had the first ever straight from Google device which was the original Nexus. In a way HTC is the Nexus as much as Google is Android. It feels fraudulent to me to refer to a Samsung device as a Nexus, especially after some hardware omissions, at least thats how i see it anyways.
