Why......?

While on a call via bluetooth, I pull out my s pen, write a note but there's no option to pen it to the display. Actually, the always on display doesn't come on at all during a call. Why is this and what can I do to fix it? I love seeing my note without turning the display on.

Try pulling your S pen out, hold the button then tap the screen twice, see if that works during the call.
