I don't see the option for WiFi calling on my OnePlus 12

Wifi calling is only available if your device is compatible with it and your carrier offers it.
My carrier is Boost Infinite (AT&T). Wi-Fi calling works on Pixels and iPhone. Not sure why I can't get it working with the OnePlus 12. I have seen screenshots of it working on the 11. I'm confused.

I don't have an OnePlus, but on my Samsung, the setting is under Connections. There is also a toggle for it in the Quick Settings Panel. Again, I'm not sure about the OnePlus. Seems like phone manufacturers keep moving stuff around. They like to be different from each other.

Maybe it's in your carrier app. When I was on cricket that's where it was. I'm on Fi now and it's also a setting in the Fi app on my 12R.

Is this Att or global version?
Unlocked bought from OnePlus. I inserted the Boost Infinite SIM (AT&T). Everything but WiFi calling works great. It's a great phone and this is not a deal breaker but it came up today with the widespread AT&T outage when I noticed that my iPhone and S24 still made phone calls using WiFi calling and the OnePlus 12 didn't have a way to enable it.

My Pixel 8 Pro is out for repair but I know that it supports WiFi calling with this SIM.

Unfortunately, AT&T does not officially support Wi-Fi calling on the OnePlus 12. This is common for AT&T with most unlocked, non-AT&T branded phones. Here's why:
* Carrier Policies: AT&T often restricts Wi-Fi calling to devices they directly sell. This is to ensure compatibility and control over their network.
* Technical limitations: OnePlus phones may need specific software configurations to work seamlessly with AT&T's Wi-Fi calling infrastructure.
Possible Workarounds (Not guaranteed):
* Check for updates: OnePlus or AT&T might release an update enabling the feature.
* Root Access: Some users report success after rooting their device but this is a complex process that can void your warranty.
If you need Wi-Fi calling on AT&T, consider:
* AT&T branded phone: Devices purchased directly from AT&T are more likely to support Wi-Fi calling
* Switching Carriers: Some carriers like T-Mobile are more friendly towards unlocked devices enabling Wi-Fi calling

My Pixel 8 Pro has been sent back to Google for repair (refurbished replacement).

Bad timing for me since I shuffled SIMs around to my spare phones and then .....

AT&T had a mysterious nationwide out(r)age.

No problem, I have WiFi calling.... But

It isn't supported on the OnePlus 12 unlocked using Boost Infinite (AT&T). I spent most of the morning trying to figure this out since I put my main SIM in that phone.

All my other phones: iPhone, Samsung S24, Google Pixels support WiFi calling without problems.

Bottom line:
OnePlus 12 is a great phone and a good value if you are looking for the most bang for the Buck... But I will be putting my SIM back in the Pixel 8 Pro when I get it back.

I have the One Plus 12 arriving tomorrow. I'm on T-Mobile. I hope I don't have this problem.

I think Att was missing those features on One Plus especially global versions
