Wi-Fi Calling - phone rings, no connection

[Android Central Question]

My wife and I recently moved to San Diego County with bad cell phone service at our home. I enabled wi-fi calling, which works ok. Yet, when my wife (in her car) calls me at home (wi-fi calling), my phone rings with no connection when I answer it. On her end, it just rings endlessly with no voicemail. I call her back and the phones work. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks.
