Wi-Fi connection

My Wi-Fi works fine at home on my home network, but if I leave my home it won't connect to my cable company's connection which is provided by surrounding establishments. My other phones always connected no problem. The signal is fair too.

Just to be clear--it never even makes the connection to the router, or does it make a connection but not have access to the web?

It never connects, the best it does is save the connection. This is really annoying because I could have Wi-Fi basically anywhere by pulling off the local establishments that provide this signal but it won't work.

Have you already tried Forgetting the xfinitywifi network? Then when you reconnect, open the browser and see if you get the Xfinity login page.

Yeah I've tried to do that .
