Seems like my s8+ (AT&T model) keeps falling off Wi-Fi and rejoining. None of my other devices do this.

Anyone else have this going on?

I have not been connected to my wifi much, but i was on it for a few hours last night. Had no issues. I was connected to my 5ghz band, router is a Netgear R7000

Yeal make sure your not on the 2. 5ghz band or what ever it is that could slow you if your competing with other devices and with newer hardware it might prefer the 5ghz band

Pretty sure it's the S8+. I have it on 5ghx band. Wiped it and set stuff back up and it still keeps falling off and rejoining. Going to try to swap it tomorrow.

It's a problem with a feature of some wireless routers and access points called "Uplink Connectivity Monitoring". In short the feature attempts to verify that both the router/ap as well as connected clients can access the Internet by checking a configurable, or predefined based on your network configuration, address upstream and renegotiating accordingly.

This is a common problem with "cheaper" or "poorly behaved" NICs and it seems the S8's NICs may fall into this category.

If you have a similar feature on your router (wireless or wired) or access point it might help to turn it off.

This worked to solve OP's problem.

One more thing:

The feature I mention is a common one in "business", "soho" or "enterprise" grade wireless solutions and you may experience this issue if you take your S8 to a "work" environment.

When I get mine tomorrow (hopefully) I'll report how my home wifi acts with it.

Wifi is working fine on mine at home. This is 5 GHz of course.

I'm located in Europe and I have the same problem. it happened after latest software update. Tried everything even Factory and Hard reset. And this isn't problem with router. I don't need to be connected to any WLAN and WIFI is gonna keep turning off and on... What a piece of.....
