Wi-Fi turns on randomly on my S5

Just recently I've been having this issue where my Wi-Fi will turn on randomly without me doing anything. I've looked all around for settings that might apply to this and all the seemingly applicable settings I've found are all turned off: Smart network switch and Always allow scanning.

It's annoying because for some reason any receiving texts can potentially be delayed when Wi-Fi is on and when turned off I'll get blasted with texts because I'm back on T-Mobile's network. So I usually keep Wi-Fi off unless I know I'll be doing data heavy operations.

I've turned my phone off and on to no avail. Does anyone know why Wi-Fi would just randomly turn itself on?
