Widget help

I am using Nova launcher since I can't add rows and columns to the sense homescreen.(So lame)
The problem is it doesn't appear that the default music player has a widget option within Nova. Huge bummer. Am I missing something? Please help with a work around that doesn't require root or a different music player.

Are you talking about the stock HTC player or Google Play Music? Not all widgets are compatible with alternate launchers, so it may be that the HTC player isn't compatible. But Google Play Music should be.

You will not get sense(HTC) widgets on a different launcher. Really no way around it. So you aren't missing anything. And its a bummer cause HTC widgets are generally awesome.

Some widgets are signed only to specific launchers. Often stock apps will only run on the stock launcher.
