Widget Locker

I have been using Widget Locker for awhile now and I just noticed how much my battery has been affected. I wonder if anyone else has this problem?

is there anyway to increase the time-out screen on widget locker?

it seems as though within 3 seconds of turning on my screen, Widget locker times out and shuts down the screen again. I'd like to give it a 5-10 second window to choose which app i want to unlock.
