WidgetLocker lag suddenly?

So I tried to mod my WL with some themes and it broke.. so I had to reinstall it. Ever since I've reinstalled it, when I unlock my phone, there's a goot 3-5 second lag before it takes me to the home screen..

Anyone else experience this? have any ideas on how to fix?

When the stock locking mechanism is on, it unlocks super quick.

When it's just WL that unlocks, there's a lag from unlock -> home screen.
