Widgets not updating

None of my widgets are automatically updating. The only way they update is by restarting the phone, and even then not all of them update. Anyone else having this issue?

I had that issue and since I'm using Solo launcher I thought it was a launcher issue. I would keep restarting the launcher and the widgets would work for a few hours but then freeze again. I wiped my cache partition but it didn't really help. After a couple of days it seems to have corrected itself.

I've had this ongoing problem without finding a way to actually fix this. Its primarily occurring with my dual clock widget. It continues to freeze several times a day and I have to restart my phone to get it working. I've done several tests on my other Samsung device like S5, N3, N4, and S6 edge+. And it only seems to be a N5 problem.

Same here, I have to restart my N5 for the widget to function again. Hope marshmallow update will fix this issue.

Has anyone ever found out what's causing this problem? This just started happening to me. Only difference is that I just went back to using TouchWiz (after Nova began giving me headaches).
