widgets not working/not updating

Hi,

I had the same problem on my galaxy S8. The fix for me was simple. In the settings in the Zooper app there is a location settings. I had it changed by a hand location. Widget wasn't updating time and date. It was only updating on hand update widget and by rebooting phone.

I selected auto location and problem is gone now for over a month.

Try going to installed apps in Settings.
Search for that app\widget name.
select AUTOSTART in PERMISSIONS.
Hope this works

The fix is easy.
Settings
Select Device Care
Select Battery
Select APP power management
Turn off Put unused apps to sleep

This should let you widgets run, keep time and other apps you might have issues with.

This is on a Samsung S10 running 10 2.1 UI. So the exact instructions may not work for you. My S10 is on Verizon.
