Wierd popup when entering an email.

Hullo!

I've had a bit of a weird problem this last week. Occasionally, when I press on the title of an email in the stock email app the email will open and then chrome browser will launch but fail to open the page because the URL is messed up. It's always a URL for a youtube video of "The Last Of Us" on PS3 which is a video I know I've viewed in the past. But it ****s up the URL something like this: http://www.comwww.youtube.com/yougettheidea

So it never opens anything up but I have to then click the back button to get back to my email. It doesn't do it on every email, just randomly on some emails now and again. I don't think its malware as I only have reliable well known apps installed and also the URL is one I recognise that I have been to before through a link from ZITE. It's really weird.

Any thoughts?

Having read that back its not as clear as it could be. What I'm saying is that regardless of what the email is, it tries to open that URL for the video to The Last Of Us.

Sounds like one of the new chrome updates borked it. I'm sure Google will put out a new update fixing the issue. Rest assured, it's not your phone!

You think? I wondered if Chrome wasn't my default browser if it would still try to open that URL in another browser. Seems odd to me like the email app is launching the URL for no reason.
