Wifi Advance setting are missing- want to stop scanning

Can someone help please how can I disable wifi scanning. Advance setting are missing from more options in wifi menu.

Go into the WiFi setting. Click on "more" in the top right corner and choose "advanced".

When you open the wifi page, it scans, because it's assumed that you opened the page to connect to a wifi signal - even if scanning is turned off in Wifi/Menu/Advanced. (Advanced should be in the menu for Wifi itself.)

That is the problem I can't see the advance option in Galaxy s6 edge plus

I'm in London on Vodafone network !! I can see all other option which you are showing in photo but advance option is missing

I assume your carrier removed that function.

You can use the search feature in the settings just in case they are in a different place. Open the settings, tap on the magnifying glass and search for "advanced".
