WiFi and 4g icons

After one of the latest updates, the behavior of the icons changed. In the past when I'm on WiFi the icon would overlay the 4g icon and I'd know data was using WiFi. Now both icons display and I worry data is using mobile data.

Any thoughts?

Are you receiving any Multimedia Messages? Do you have Adaptive WiFi options on (to switch to mobile data if your connection has issues/isn't strong)? Or maybe download booster?
