Wifi and cellular not connecting on LG watch urban 2 edition

hey all
does anyone know how to get the google maps to work on the LG watch urban 2 without bluetooth connection ive tried wifi and mobile data but nothing apart from bluetooth works. wifi and mobile data must be working because ok google lets me ask questions and gives answers
location(GPS) is ON

It takes a really long time to get a GPS lock without BT. When connected with BT, it gets GPS data from phone which is pretty quick.

You need to be outside with a clear view of sky for your watch to get its own GPS fix and patiently wait for many minutes.

I wish AW 2.0 will finally have network assistant of GPS lock to help speed it up.

I usually start up Wear GPS and make sure I have a good signal before using tracking or maps. Indoors barely ever gets you a strong enough signal.
