WiFi Authentication errors! !!

I have tried everything to solve this problem with my S7 Edge. Today I acessed my router and found it was 2.4 and 5 ghz. when AT&T installed they changed network password for me, but only for 2.4 ghz, the 5 ghz was still set at the default (that was the password causing the error) I changed the password to match and saved it. It seemed to fix the issue with the authentication errors and invalid password. So far, even after a phone restart it connected on its own. Previously had to manually connect it every hour or so.

Everyone in my household has the S6. Then xfinity.came along and pushed this "faster" gateway/router on us. We said we didn't want it, they said they were no longer providing support for the old on, which imo was fine. I had a cable modem and a router with everything working plenty fast enough for our uses... Lpng story short now after they swap it we have had repeated loss of Wi-Fi, then it will reconnect or have an authentication error and we have to manually connect.... Or its acts crazy and just won't connect at all for 5-10 mins... Never longer than that bust constantly dropping... We are one room away from the gateway, and one wall in between.. So I know it's not that... It's on 2.4 not 5.

Im usually pretty tech savy but.I cant.figure this out. Not considering the ps4 is completely on the OTHER side of the house and.works great for gran turismo sport...no lag at all
