Galaxy S21 ... Unlocked using T-Mobile

Is anyone else getting this way-too-frequent notification?

There's a similar thread about this here in the forum, but doesn't look like there was any resolution.

There's gotta be a way to stop this notification without actually turning off WiFi Calling.

Try going settings>apps>system apps and tap.on wifi calling and clear data and force stop it , try force stop.first and see if that takes care it if not then data and force stop..Screenshot_20210308-145625_Settings.jpg

If you just don't want to see that notification, long press on it and turn it off and save it. That's one I would turn off, I don't need to see it's been updated.

My settings menus must be different than yours. Still not getting to the right place. On mine, WoFi Calling isn't even listed under the Samsung (System?) apps. Anyway, I'll post again if I find it. Thanks

I followed your steps (thank you) and it brought me to this screen - see attached photo. So, I selected "Silent", toggled off "Show as pop-up", and turned off App icon badges (not sure what they mean by this as I've never seen an app for WiFi Calling).

So ... we'll see if this works.

Thanks!

Also, as someone else mentioned, apparently you can long-press on the notification and gives you the same options.

Hopefully this works!

Well, this is a shame. There is no getting rid of this notification. Under WiFi Calling, Notifications is grayed-out/ghosted. It lets you choose "Alert" or "Silent", which doesn't make any sense. I chose "Silent" and I'm still getting the notification - maybe that means you still get the notification but it doesn't make any sound.

Is anyone else seeing this on a daily basis?? Do I have the only S21 where Notifications are ghosted for WiFi Calling?

I wonder if a Factory Reset might get it to stop. Maybe that's extreme ... (?)

Spent some time on the phone with T-Mobile Tech Support. It's a known issue with Samsung and it's affecting a lot of Galaxy phones - a lot of S9s supposedly. They are working on an over-the-air update which is supposed to come in the next week or two.

The first I hear especially on Tmobile, but might be a bug hopefully a update fixes

Not sure , no one else joined in .

Just trying to re-jumpstart my thread here to see if anyone else is dealing with this annoyance. I think the tech support person at T-Mobile was either lying or had no idea what he was talking about when he promised that Samsung was putting out a software update to fix this. I have a feeling he was just trying to get me off the phone.

Ugh!!

No problem, yeah I don't have much faith in tech support saying that , easy way for them to escape the conversation.

I'm really starting to wonder, maybe there's a really good legit reason that I'm getting that notification ... maybe it's really by design

You can try going to settings>general management>reset network will have to re-enter your wifi password again
