Wifi Calling Drops Frequently on LGG4

Anyone know what would cause my wifi calling to drop frequently on my new LGG4? It will post a notification that wifi calling cannot connect so I go to the setting bar, disable wifi calling and turn it back on. It will come back on and work fine for a day or so and then it randomly disconnects again. It will transition from home to work with no problems also, just randomly disconnects at either location every now and then??

Don't know if this will help, but if you happen to be using a router, try prioritizing your phone over other equipment using the router. Just an idea.

It seems like most all cell plans have unlimited calling, so I always wonder why someone would want to use WiFi calling? I tried it for while about 2 years ago using an app called GrooveIP, and found it far less consistent than a cell call (some crackling sounds, echos and many dropped calls), but maybe the technology has improved a lot since then.

Not everyone has great service at home, work, etc so Wi-Fi calling helps in many situations for a lot of people.

Exactly...I have horrible service inside my house an in the building at work. Wifi calling works great when I can keep it enabled.

I am on the phone with T mobile about this very issue now. The phone has been out for 2 months and Wi-Fi calling should not be an issue at this point in 2015. This is a huge issue with this phone.

Keep us posted! I have been through my router settings and scoured the interwebs but not much tech info on wifi calling!

I have to restart my phone to get Wi-Fi calling to actually turns on if not it just hangs there waiting to enable

Is this an lg g4 issue or a Tmobile issue? Switching to Tmobile next week and considering the lg and the galaxy s6.

Wifi calling is a carrier based feature so this would be a carrier issue. Android M supposedly has (might have??) wifi calling baked into the OS so there is hope!

I went ahead and bought a G5 thinking it would be better. It's not. Has the same drops as the G4. So, if you rely on it like I do, same issue.
