wifi calling

Hello. This is my first smartphone with wifi calling and I was wondering if it was normal to not have signal/bars while in a wifi hotspot? My signal/bars area is completely greyd out. I hope this is normal. Thanks all.

You don't get the normal 3 or 4 bars while on the regular network..... what you get is a parachute type icon that it also gives you 3 or 4 bars I just don't know how many .....bars while connected to a wifi........
