WiFi calling?

I tried searching for this but can't seem to find the answer. When I had the Nexus 6 I could use wifi calling on T-Mobile, is this the same for the P?

Yep. All Nexus devices after the Nexus 6 have the Wi-Fi Calling ability at the OS level now

Thanks! I need a new phone since my swappa bought tmobile Note 5 just got blacklisted! Non payment by the previous owner . The Note is great, always like the Nexus phones more.

Yep it works for T-Mobile right out of the box .

This is true but it will only work if the carrier supports this feature (like T-Mobile).

It may -- but I don't think it will. I know AT&T has allowed wifi calling on iPhone but not sure if they have allowed any Android phones yet. If you have a 6P I would try enabling it and see if it gives you any errors.

You have to go into settings then go to more under wireless and networks and turn on WiFi calling
